Question 1

How do I track my Diwali order?

Accepted Answer

Once your order is confirmed, you will receive an SMS and email containing your Order ID and Tracking Number. You can visit our dedicated Track Order page (/track-order) and enter your ID to see real-time updates from pickup to doorstep delivery.

Question 2

Can I send gifts directly to multiple addresses?

Accepted Answer

Each order is delivered to one address, which you choose at checkout. To send gifts to several people, place a separate order for each recipient - save their addresses in your address book so you can pick them quickly. On products where the seller offers it, you can also add a name or greeting message and festive gift wrap.

Question 3

Can I cancel my order?

Accepted Answer

Yes, but only until the order is packed and handed over to the delivery partner (it goes into the shipping manifest). Once it is packed or the delivery partner has received it, it cannot be cancelled. If you cancel an order you already paid for online, you are refunded the total less a 2% cancellation charge, which covers the payment charges we cannot recover. Cash on delivery orders have no charge. If we or the seller cancel an order, you get a full refund. A shipped order cannot be cancelled.

Question 4

How long will delivery take for Diwali orders?

Accepted Answer

Standard festive delivery takes between 2 to 5 business days across major Indian metros and tier 2/3 cities. In regional hub zones, express 24-48 hour delivery is active for festive sweets and decorations.

Question 5

Is delivery free?

Accepted Answer

No. A delivery charge applies to every order. It depends on your PIN code and the weight of the products, and you see the exact amount at checkout before you pay.

Question 6

How are fragile clay diyas and glass lanterns packaged?

Accepted Answer

All fragile terracotta diyas, brass idols, and glass lanterns are individually cushioned in eco-friendly bubble padding and double-corrugated festive boxes with "Fragile - Festive Care" seals.

Question 7

Can I return a product?

Accepted Answer

Delivery is open-box, so please check your parcel when it arrives. There are no returns or exchanges for a change of mind, or because the colour or size is not what you expected. A return or replacement is possible only if the wrong product was delivered, or the product is defective or damaged. Report it within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos or the video of opening the parcel. For a defective or wrong item the seller is responsible and bears all the charges.

Question 8

How will I receive my refund?

Accepted Answer

Refunds go back to your original payment method, usually 5 to 7 working days after we approve them (UPI is often faster). For cash on delivery orders, we transfer to your bank account or UPI. Cancelled paid orders are refunded less the 2% cancellation charge.

Question 9

What payment modes are accepted on Diwali Mela?

Accepted Answer

We accept all major payment methods: UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM), Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, RuPay), Net Banking across 50+ banks, and Cash on Delivery (COD) up to ₹20,000.

Artisans and manufacturers can register via our Seller Portal (/seller/register). After a brief document verification and sample approval, your shop goes live to thousands of Diwali shoppers.

Question 13

What types of corporate Diwali gifts can I buy on Diwali Mela?

Accepted Answer

Our Diwali Gift category covers ready-made gift hampers and personalized gifts. You can also build your own gifts from sweets and namkeen, dry fruits, diyas and festive lights, puja thali sets, kitchen and dining sets, ethnic wear and gadgets - all sold by verified sellers on Diwali Mela.

Question 14

Can I customize Diwali gifts for my employees or clients?

Accepted Answer

Yes, on products where the seller offers it. Look for the "Add a name" or "Add a message" field on the product page to include a recipient's name or a greeting note. Many products also offer gift wrapping for a small extra charge, which you can choose on the product page or in your cart.

Question 15

Do you offer company-branded gifts or custom packaging?

Accepted Answer

Standard festive gift wrap is available on products where the seller has enabled it. Printing your company logo or using custom-branded packaging is not something you can select online yet - email contact@digitalbookofindia.com with your requirement and we will check which sellers can do it for your order.

Question 16

Do you deliver Diwali gifts across India?

Accepted Answer

We deliver to serviceable PIN codes across India. Enter a PIN code on any product page or on the homepage to see whether we deliver there and the expected delivery time. Orders above ₹499 get free delivery. If your order has items from more than one seller, each seller ships separately and you can track every shipment from My Orders.

Question 17

Can I manage different gifting budgets for teams or branches?

Accepted Answer

There is no separate budget-management tool for companies yet. A simple way to handle it is to place one order per team or branch: save each office in your address book, use the price filter to shop within each budget, and apply any active coupon at checkout. Every order gets its own invoice, which makes it easy to account for each team.

Question 18

Can I place bulk Diwali gift orders for employees and clients?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can add up to 10 units of a product at a time from the product page and increase the quantity further in your cart, up to the stock the seller has available. Cash on Delivery is available for orders up to ₹20,000; larger orders can be paid online by UPI, card or net banking. For very large quantities, email contact@digitalbookofindia.com before ordering so we can confirm stock with the sellers.

Question 19

How does Diwali Mela make corporate gifting more meaningful?

Accepted Answer

Your gifts come from local artisans, sweet makers and small shops across India, so every order supports local businesses during the festive season. Add a personal message and festive gift wrap where the seller offers them, so each gift feels personal rather than generic.

Question 20

Add items to your cart, apply a coupon if you have one, and check out with online payment or Cash on Delivery. For large or customized orders, contact us first at contact@digitalbookofindia.com or raise a ticket from the Help Center.
